“What Lies Behind The Images Is Not Luxury But Sex And Sometimes Desire"

I chose the ‘Exposed’ brief and I wanted to focus on ‘exposing’ the human body through fashion styling. I looked into the style of clothes people wear on nights out and came to the conclusion that there are a majority of people who ‘cake’ there faces in makeup to somewhat hide their identity but freely expose their bodies I wanted to portray this in my photographs which is why I decided to take a series of photographs with my model wearing a mask. I also included an image of my model not wearing the mask, I made the colours in this images brighter as I wanted it to stand out from the rest to show the stereotypical way people keep their guard up to not expose their real self.

I got my final 5 photos printed, I am still rather worried they dont fit the brief.
